ASPIC is Portugal’s cancer-research association — a multidisciplinary forum, affiliated with the EACR, in the public interest.
Launched in October 2012 under the auspices of the EACR during the first cancer research symposium of the Portuguese community, and formally established in 2013, ASPIC welcomes investigators independently of academic background or professional activity.
The Association promotes scientific excellence and the dissemination of knowledge, addresses challenges for research in Portugal and Europe, and fosters links with Portuguese-speaking countries. Affiliation with the EACR is the core instrument of European integration.
